Our Story
We are Sergio, Alejandro and Joseph, co-founders of Averiun. In 2025 we launched Averiun as three young engineers with a clear idea: if we want responsible consumption and real sustainability, we need reliable data. When analyzing the market, we saw that environmental and supply chain traceability was centralized, expensive and inefficient, and that in many sectors it simply did not exist.
Information about the origin of products, their journey, their certifications and their audits depended on intermediaries and central authorities with the capacity to alter or condition the data. The result was twofold: the consumer was exposed to false or incomplete information, and companies that do things right did not have a simple and verifiable way to demonstrate the origin and real value of their product.
We looked for alternatives, but we found solutions that cost thousands of euros, unfeasible for most, or supposedly decentralized systems that, when trying to scale, ended up reintroducing centralization to operate. That's why we created Averiun: a decentralized and accessible DLT technology, designed to bring transparency and verifiable truthfulness to supply chains without relying on intermediaries.
